- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I came here from Wellington and spent the night in their apartment and booked for lunch the next day. My partner and I had a wonderful time in this country vineyard location. It was romantic and they provided the wine and a fireplace with the fully self contained room overlooking the vineyard and hills. The food was great, not to mention the wine and the staff very friendly. I cant really think of anything bad except we had some rain, but the cafe has indoor dining too and the sun came out for our drive around the wineries the next day. So, overall I would recommend Gladstone Vineyard and Stokers to anyone wishing to excape to good food and good wine!By fiona_appleton, April 19, 2019
